Mucky Bucket Farm

animal ethics

Our knowledgeable and caring team always puts the welfare of our animals first and has a special bond with each of them.

Through our research into animal husbandry our animals are happy, healthy and live life to the full, their confident personalities make them ideal for positive and loving attention.

The comfort and welfare of our animals is paramount and our services are strictly governed by legislation which we not only meet but often exceed.

We hold a ‘keeping and training animals for exhibition’ licence outlined by DEFRA and issued from the local authorities. In addition to this our staff are CEVAS trained (countryside educational visits accreditation scheme).

HI, I’M VICTORIA…

… and I’m the leader of ‘the Herd’ at Mucky Bucket Farm. My passion for animal care and companionship started as a very young girl when caring for my grandparents family pets. As the village policeman and nurse with a small parcel of land attached to their home, they were the go to for injured and rescued animals. From dogs, cats, donkeys, cows, ponies, birds, fish and other wildlife, I loved spending my summers at my grandparents singing and reading stories to their animals and even marrying Ben the spaniel.

Having this special time in my childhood taught me compassion, empathy and gave me responsibility at a young age.  Owning a pet takes a huge commitment of time, finance and knowledge. I believe Mucky Bucket Farm can give everyone the opportunity to feel love and joy from our animals while learning how to engage in positive and gentle interaction and make memories that last a lifetime.  These days life whizzes by at such a fast pace and more so than ever it is important to get outdoors, interact with others (people and animals) and slow down.

THE MUCKY BUCKET FARM TEAM

Our team, 'the herd', is made up of the most wonderful souls.  A community of welcoming, caring and professional animal lovers with ample animal experience, qualifications and a keen mentality to expand their knowledge.

As a business it warms our hearts that we can support mothers (the little helping hands of our team are the sweetest little animals lovers), young people (whilst they explore careers such as vet med and vet physio) and guide the next generation who we hope will one day become leaders within the business with schemes such as apprenticeships.

We are so proud of our 'herd' and often get praise about our friendly and enthusiastic staff.  Mucky Bucket Farm  wouldn't be what it is today without them.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU

We will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
